SSC Cricket Lions

We are Cricket division of SSC-Karlsruhe and are registered as SSC-Cricket Lions with Deutsche Cricket Bund DCB (www.cricket.de). We are also associated with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT (www.kit.edu). 

Our main cricket training sessions and matches are held in Karlsruhe. We have "the best" cricketing ground in Baden-Württemberg, with artificial cricket pitch and lush green grounds. Facilities like gym, showers, lockers, changing rooms etc are at the disposal of cricketers, making it very favorable for the growth of cricket in the region. Competition on State-level and other important matches (like league finals and semi-finals) are played on our cricket ground. And for winters we have an Indoor Hall to play cricket either with soft or tennis balls. 

We participate in League games and tournaments organized by DCB. We are proud champions of Baden-Württemberg Cricket league on multiple occasions, in one-day and T20 format. Moreover, we also organize friendlies on regular basis with teams inside and outside Germany. 

Out-door cricket starts in mid April and it continues till end of October. DCB leauge games are played on Sundays and practices/training sessions are scheduled on Fridays from 18:30 to 21:00 and on Saturdays from 16:30 to 19:00 hrs. Indoor cricket starts from Mid-October and continues till Mid-April.

We are a good mixture of players with both professional and non-professional cricketers.People from Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Bruchsal and other localities regularly join us. We are always looking forward for new members, both as players and for management of club. Any one who has love and passion for cricket or wants to enjoy by being part of cricket, is welcome to be part of this setup.
